From the pages of my journal to the pages of published books, Thirteen Months Journey Through the Pandemic (2022) and Fired Up (2023) reflect a genuine, honest, and curious perspective of my personal and professional lives. To write from a critically reflective practice is, as Brookfield (1998) said, a process of inquiry to discover and research assumptions that frame how we work [and live]. The Unwell Educator takes a similar approach in that we will deeply reflect on our understanding of unwellness and care through the structures that surround us.
